History:

Rapid & Bright exists since September 1997. Ewoud Melis and Tim Sinkeldam (who is moved now) had music-lessons (saxophone) together and they wanted to start a band together with Hein Tool (drums).
Ricardo Jacobson came with us to play keyboard, but he also could play bass and that's what he's doing now. And then I, Peter Boonstoppel (keyboard) joined the band.

Our first attitude was on the 23rd of Januari 1998. We haven at school an evening and everybody who can play an instrument may come and play for other people, it's called the 'Grand Gala'.
We played 2 songs: the Bb Blues (?) and Ain't that just the way (Lutricia McNeal). We played very well and we didn't make too many mistakes.

After that we haven only been practising. We've had a female singer for a short time, but that was no succes. Ruben, one of our managers, knowed somebody who could play guitar, so now we have a guitarist named Rick.
We are going to practise very hard now, because a new 'Grand Gala' is coming!
